Thanks for the ideas - I forgot about rice pudding.
I found baked bananas easy to digest, though I read somewhere that they're not?
Sometimes I have veg. soup if I have any made, with toast.

Porridge with banana or berries or maple syrup. Very quick to make in the microwave.

Yogurt is good, full fat is better for you than the 0% or low fat ones which are stuffed with sweeteners. You can add fruit or a little fruit purée.

I have this problem. I tend to stick to bland food in the evening. I often have just plain bread and butter, pancakes also, if I can be bothered to make some.

Yes. rRce pudding made with skimmed milk is very digestible. And very delicious.

You could try banana perhaps with bread or some toast? Even rice pudding as rice tends to be easy to digest. Can't think of anything else right now. Hope something works for you.

OH will get indigestion if he eats in the evening so now he just doesn't do it as he knows he'll pay with a wakeful night. I'd suggest just a hot milky drink with plain biscuit maybe.

Cornflakes with skimmed milk? Or something like Ready-brek.

Any ideas for easy-to-digest suppers?
Like my Mum , I have to be careful about what I eat in the evenings, or I get indigestion which keeps me awake. In her 80s she only ate rice cakes in the evening, then some chocolate in milk. The rest of the day I can eat anything.
Does anyone else have this problem, and if so what do you eat? I'm always hungry, so must eat something!
