Hello
Just thinking about buying a multi cooker and wanted to know if anyone has one. There are just so many on Amazon, I am even more confused now! I don't want anything huge as I want to use it in the caravan in the summer but I would like something that I could practise on now. Any help at all would be appreciated.

hi - i have 2. One i bought from a well know store in B 'Stortford [also have on line shop] it was ok, but always thought cooking was not so accurate, and the numbers on the knob wore of off after repeated washing. The other one is a Salter, and seems to be good [numbers do not rub off after washing up]
I bought the original one for use in the caravan, and found that it cooked well [especially if there was sauce involved] my first attempt at cooking in it was a bit of a disaster, as it did say that it could roast - um, well my joint stuck to the bottom, and it was only the hard graft of DH that managaed to get it clean. However, it still does cook well, but i only used it for curries, casseroles. So that one is relagated to the house. The second one also cooks well, but has the advantage that the dish separates from the electric base for washing up. So this second one was the better buy. It was also cheaper. [Factory Shop] This is the one used in the caravan now. its easier to wash, when in confines of 'van, whateve you have cooked.Hope this helps a bit.
