It is not particularly quick, but you don't need to stand over it, was very easy and very tasty.

When we have a curry with chicken and a jar of sauce, I sometimes add a bag of ready-washed spinach for the last few minutes. Makes the meal a bit more complete. The Birds Eye small bags of mixed veg work too.

Accompany it with the two minute microwave bags of rice of course.

With you on the spinach, there is a slow cooker mix for chicken curry where you add a load of fresh spinach for the last 5 minutes, I have nicked the idea and use it for other recipes too. Just sort of let it "wilt" down a bit, adds a veg and looks authentic.

A homemade curry, even with a jar of sauce, is enhanced also if you add a handful of fresh coriander leaves along with the spinach.
