A fair while ago we had a long running thread about what we were having for dinner. I found it a good source of ideas and thought I'd try to resurrect it - it's for Tizliz too!!

Tonight's dinner doesn't really qualify for the name but I'm on the school run tonight in Derby, so fit for nothing when I get home apart from wine

We are having M&S gf fishcakes, gf oven chips and frozen peas! I'll do better tomorrow. blush

Tonight was lamb curry with basmati rice. Both fridges are empty so I do not have a clue what is on the menu tomorrow evening.

Sausage, fried egg and a fry up of onions, ground elder shoots from the garden, dried breadcrumbs, and toasted flaked almonds.

Chinese takeaway. DH's idea. He was working today until 5.00pm so he ordered it when he left work. So no cooking for me tonight. smile

Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, kale, carrot and turnip mash and cauliflower cheese. For once, we were on our own, so will be enough for bubble and squeak tomorrow wink

Home made raspberry panacotta for afters!
Tomorrow will be fish pie made with smoked mackerel and smoked basa/river cobbler/pangasius, cheese sauce, mashed potato and cheese and onion crisps crumbled on top for crispiness!

annsixty Sun 03-Apr-16 16:28:45

Oh dear Ann, please may I come?

annsixty Sun 03-Apr-16 16:27:23

Please can I come? I love fish pie but no one else does and bought ones are not nice.

We have just had chicken breasts stuffed with Stilton, wrapped in Parma ham, with a cream sauce, rosti potato cakes and spinach. No room for a pudding!

Auntieflo Sat 02-Apr-16 17:33:19

Mushroom risotto with asparagus added tonight. Mushrooms bought and not used yet. Might add a couple of chunks of butternut squash. I have some slices of chocolate cake in the freezer for afters.
