Irish soda bread is made with Bicarbonate of soda, flour and buttermilk - quick and easy to make as well.

Baking powder bread? Soda bread? Lovely when eaten warm.

Oatcakes?

my DD1 can't eat yeast and it is a hard life. I think many people particularly obese people are allergic to yeast as my daughter lost all her fat and emerged slim and fit, like she still is 20 years later.

Some Crisp breads are made without yeast, take your reading glasses with you to the supermarket. A lot are OK. Its not that, its doing wihout Pizza that is hard.

Certainly ask her! Me, I actually prefer ryvita ( dark rye)or rye bread, just because...don't eat wheat, tho.

Because she's got a fibro-whatever condition, she'll appreciate your thoughtfulness?

I'd love that in a friendsmile

Do you need to have bread? Maybe better with yoghurt, berries, eggs, ham, fruit etc? I agree with asking her, though.

Is this someone you know well? Either way think I'd ask your guest for her preferences. Could you do that? I also have fibro, mine is impacted by gluten and caffeine so I always offer to take my own bread, pasta, coffee and tea (not a cake or biscuit fan) and am more than happy to suggest brands if asked. Your guest will know it's difficult and surely be happy to help her hostess. Hope it works out well.

Oops, can't seem to spell "containing" in the early morning blush

Please help.

We've a guest who is due to stay for a week in the next few days. You see yeast induces fibromyalgia. I feel
uncomfortable with offering Ryvita in the morning.

Any one know if flatbreads contain (even) small amount of yeast?? confused

She drinks green tea; which is the tastiest brand?
Or is it down to personal preference?
