Has anyone chosen their wines for Christmas yet specifically ones chosen to go with food? we are having guinea fowl on Boxing Day and haven't decided whether this should be red or white yet - all suggestions gratefully received.

Not much help - we have prosecco and then revert to our usual tipple - red or white, which ever anyone prefers. Philistines!! grin

Whatever is on offer which is tried, tested and enjoyed previously.

I do like a good Chablis but don't normally buy that, but I would be drinking it all by myself as everyone else likes red.

It doesn't seem to matter these days though - anything goes as long as you like it! Although I would have thought a robust red would be too much with guinea fowl.

Rose (with an accent over the e!) ?

Champagne pre-dinner nibbles. Choice for everyone with meal, then desert wine with pudding or trifle and port with cheese, nuts chocolate etc. Stuffed!!!!!
