Does anyone know what those blue-and-white cloths are, which I have seen being used ad infinitum on Masterchef recently?

They look for all the world like J-Cloths - but surely, if that were the case, wouldn't loose threads would cling to the food just cooked? Are these special cloths? If so, where does one buy them? I am fed-up of using ordinary Kitchen Roll - I seem to go through miles of it, even the "strong" ones, heavily advertised on TV.

Apparently they are J Cloths. They don't have threads as such, do they? Give them a try and see how you get on...

Sorry for not answering your thread re j clothes before now.
I use blue and white clothes that come in packs of ten (home bargains)
I have been looking out for some that are on a roll that I have used previously
I found a roll over xmas in Home bargains.
The brand is cleanit
Its a roll of 30
They are reusable and washable (not in machine)
Can be used wet or dry
I think I paid about £1. 99.
The packet of 10 loose ones are about a pound ( I prefer these for the cleaning bathroom )
