How to dry cut-out fondant icing?

I have made a set of fondant Beats headphones to decorate DGS's birthday cake for next Tuesday. I have moulded them around a curved tub and now need them to dry enough for them to hold themselves rigid. Will they harden enough in air or should I use something like a fan? I have read that a lamp will work or a very cool oven. Has anyone any experience? I know I should have used gum paste but don't have any to hand.
This is the type of thing I have made but will use Oreos for the padded part plus have a printed iPhone icing topper.

I have never made anything as big as that out of fondant icing, but I would not put them in an oven, however cool. If they dry too fast, they may crack. I hope someone else on the forum would have more expertise, but I would think they should air dry sufficiently between now and next Tuesday. I hope it turns out well - I'd love to see the finished cake! It sounds a great idea.
