Reductions by stealth

Blinies ( possibly two n's in there)
I needed to make some savoury nibbles for four people; so made some smoked salmon pate, and bought some tiny pancakes ( blinies )
from Tesco. The package said it contained sixteen; just right for four of us. Sadly for me, there were only fifteen. Guess who had to make do with only three, whilst watching my guests guzzle four each?
I can't help wondering if Tesco were sneakily reducing the contents of the packages.

Walnut whips used to have a walnut inside AND on top.

Walnut Whips aren't what they used to be either.

They used to advertise Club biscuits as "If you want a lot of chocolate on your biscuit join our Club" They can't any more because there isn't a lot!

I'm sure Magnums have shrunk since last year.

I had a strawberry split lolly today - it was much smaller than they used to be.

Even the dog is suffering. 2kg bag instead of 2.5kg but of course the same price.

It's for your own good, all that chocolate is bad for you so they are helping you out by reducing the size. And if you believe that ........

Especially Wagon Wheels! One used to fill me for ages, now I need two and it is the same with all chocolate biscuits- each has shrunk. Because they are all so expensive, I only buy now if there is an offer on. They are the losers.

Not to mention Wagon Wheels!

Toblerone bars are shorter. Also Mars bars sink down in their wrappers...they used to fill the packaging.
