I have taken a rack of lamb out of the freezer, it was bought for a special occasion which never happened, well the occasion did, we just never celebrated.
It is for tomorrow night and my mouth is watering already.

A chicken curry on the go here for tommorrow evening (needs a day for the flavours to develop). The plumber who is working upstairs is complaining that he is distracted by the lovely smells and is now starving!

Our local shop does carry out Roast Chicken dinners on a Sunday blush

Just made diced lamb with baby potatoes, cooked in the pressure cooker along with baby aubergines.
Lots of thick, juicy stock with it.
Serving it for tomorrow's lunch when DS and DIL and the children are coming for lunch.
Oh and pavlova for dessert.
Have a nice weekend everyone.

I'm starting with jellied beetroot, as long as DH remembers the vinegar. It's the last of the beetroot from the garden.

Trying out a couple recipes from Nigellas new book....chicken fricassee, roasted maple plums and the white chocolate cheesecake....will take the cheesecake to my daughter's as I'm picking up my granddaughters for the weekend.
