Thank you for all the suggestions, shysal. Unfortunately, the one I particularly want isn't there and I've so set my heart on it. Definitely don't fancy doing Walking Dead and I don't think it's quite what a five year old would want so I'll just have to keep looking!

I wish you luck. I remember making one for DGD many years ago, complete with dragon breathing fire! GD is now 16 so the last cake was The Walking Dead with 'blood' dripping down the sides, not quite as romantic!

I'm trying to track down a copy of a book I had in the 1980s but have nothing to go on except that it was a paperback and featured the most beautiful fairytale castle on the front. The castle was in shades of pinks and purples with lots of turrets and individual roof tiles. I never got round to making the cake for either of my daughters but now I have a granddaughter and would love to make it for her.

I've looked at eBay and online secondhand book shops without any luck so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be eternally grateful! smile
