Before Christmas several people were bemoaning the fact that coffee creams were no longer in boxes of chocolates. Last night I opened my Christmas box from Thorntons and ate one. No idea if they are in other packs.

Definitely having a random thoughts day today!

I got a box of Thorntons which also had coffee creams they were always my favourite. Can't get coffee walnut whips anymore either.

Tanith I love walnut whips in any shape or form they are so yummy.
Not had one for a long while whilst healthy eating.sad

Please buy the M & S walnut whips instead of the Nestlé ones, they are yummy and M & S is a much more ethical company.

Saw an ad for Tesco selling Quality Street boxes very cheap yesterday and hope that is because so many of us are boycotting that terrible company.

I always loved coffee flavoured ice cream too, don't often see that any more.
Have discovered coffee Kit Kats though .. I was good and resisted a pack today lol.

M & S do boxesof coffee creams but may only be at Christmas. Thornton’s and Hotel Chocolate also sell them. Can you tell that they are my favourite but only good quality ones.

jusnoneed please try to continue resisting, Nestlé really is an abominable company and I don't buy any of their products.

I hate coffee creams. They are the devils own chocolate filling.

Hotel Chocolate Champagne Truffles are to die for.

Black Magic still have coffee creams. They don't have the diamond shaped one that was fudge and fondant though. I liked those ones best.

etheltbags1 Thu 11-Jan-18 15:04:20

I luv chocolate coffee creams of any description.

FarNorth Thu 11-Jan-18 15:22:37

I haven't had a coffee cream for years and years.
I remember buying a box of them as my brother's Xmas gift, when we were teenagers, as they were his favourite.

Jusnoneed: for coffee ice cream, you could stir coffee essence or cooled strong coffee into vanilla ice cream. That’s what my father used to do.

Tesco sometimes have Caffe Latte finest ice cream it's delicious.

Auntieflo Thu 11-Jan-18 19:28:19

Oooh Tanith, ice cream is on my shopping list, will have to alter it to Caffe Latte! When I was at school , I used to walk past Rossi's ice cream shop, and their coffee ice cream was the best.

Someone I worked with years ago used to bring in all the coffee creams from their various Christmas boxes of chocolates because she and her family didn't like them.

Coeffe and walnut cake - mmmm
