I was really disappointed when Force wheatflakes was discontinued and there’s nothing new that’s comparable.

ReadyMeals I am so pleased you mentioned Coffee Crisp because whenever I mention it to others they cant remember it. Even my chocoholic DH doesn't remember it. They were Mum and I's treat when we went shopping.
Heinz vegetable salad used to be called Russian salad. Indeed it is a Russian dish and delicious there. One local buffet restaurant makes a delicious 'Russian' salad too.

Magicmaggie

I have bought cafe iced biscuits (coffee icing on one side of a plain rectangular biscuit) in M&S in 2017.
Green packaging and sold as two packs taped together.

Vesta curries!!

I really miss Abbey Crunch biscuits. There doesn't seem to be the choice of biscuits around nowadays as there used to be a few years ago. I guess everyone has become more weight conscious.

Sainsburys square individual meat pies, and fruit pies too. Apples, blackcurrant ec. They sold them near the butter patter on the fresh counter. Also, raspberry ruffles. And what has happened to London cheesecakes with the coconut shreds on top.

Recently Tetley drawstring tea bags have disappeared. I found them to be very good but I must be in a minority.

Callard & Bowser’s nougat and butterscotch in their beautiful and luxurious wrappings - boxes, individual silver wraps, rice paper etc.
Also, Special K 'old' recipe. Hate this 'new' one which has more wheat I'm told.

Kunzl cakes. How I remember them. because when they came back on the market after WW2 my mother was so delighted to see them again and I do remember how nice they were. Once they reappeared my mother would buy a box of four as a treat with Sunday tea.

granjan, frozen runner beans? I have vast quantities in my fridge, grown in the garden and cropped and frozen even more quickly than M&S.

granjan Tue 27-Feb-18 15:22:08

This year I mean 2017!!!

granjan Tue 27-Feb-18 15:20:55

YES!!! I am forever looking for frozen runner beans. M & S had some in the Summer last year for a few weeks, didn't get the chance to look this year. sad

grumppa Tue 27-Feb-18 15:14:57

Real turtle soup, but we had to save the turtles.

inishowen Tue 27-Feb-18 15:07:21

M&S used to do trout pate with little bits of cucumber in it, also carrot and parnsip soup. I loved them. Also years ago, Crawfords had a dark chocolate digestive biscuit. They were oblong shaped and were delicious. Nothing compares to them.

Does anyone remember ice magic -choc sauce which went hard on ice cream? Also choc arctc roll. Both were firm favourites of my children when young but not seen them lately. (The food not the children!)
