I'm just getting used to my new electric oven. I made some bread rolls today and baked them for about 30 mins @ 180C. They're still half raw.
So does anyone know the correct temp? I've put them back in @ 220C. Trial and error.

I usually put my bread/rolls in at 200c fan oven. If it’s not a fan oven, then probably higher. Most recipes seem to suggest whacking up the heat first then reducing to 200 after 5 or 10 minutes.

I usually bake bread and rolls at 220°c. I have a fan oven, and they take less time to bake than the recipes suggest. I've found that with everything I cook in it. It's a Stoves oven btw.

Thanks for the replies.
It's not just temperature, but the oven setting I have to understand.
Anyway they're baked at last, but a bit burnt on the top.
So different from my old basic gas oven where the only choice was heat.
