DH made tomato soup on Wednesday. There was no room in the freezer so we stored it in the fridge as soon as it was cooled.
We still have a couple of portions left. Looks and tastes fine, do you think it will be ok tomorrow ?

Absolutely! I made some French onion soup yesterday and we will eat the rest of it for lunch on Monday. The only thing I expect to suffer from is terrible wind!!?

I made spiced parsnip soup this week and had it for three lunches. As long as it's in the fridge it should last for several days.

We are still eating the rest of the beef cooked last Sunday. So far so good. Tomato Soup certainly fine to eat.

Yes, there is no meat in it, should be fine.Let us know if you are not fine, then we shall have learned a lesson.grin

Yes, I agree that the soup ought to be fine.

I thought Lemongrove made a witty remark and am still chuckling. Perhaps I am easily amused.

Just simmer it for several minutes once you have brought it to the boil.

In the past the stock pot was constantly on the hod. The rule was each day to bring it to the boil and simmer it for 5 minutes. That killed off any organisms and kept the stock 'sweet'
