Anyone recommend a cake baking book for an early teen interested in baking? Wonder if there is an illustrated one that springs to mind?

I got a Jane Asher one from Poundland. Some lovely cakes, traybakes etc in there. Very well explained and worth more than the £1 I paid for it. She also has a range of bakeware, cake cases, cutters, etc all £1 each.

I had a notification from Amazon this morning and apparently they are doing 70% off loads of cookery books and there were lots aimed at young kids to teenagers.

The Australian Womens Weekly cookery books are reasonable and fully illustrated. My favourite is the Cakes and Slices one but they do a huge range. Amazon seems to have only used ones at a sensible price so guess it may be discontinued. I buy all my books in used good condition, even for presents, they are usually as new.

Thanks again for the suggestions. Thought I would mention that I ordered the Be-Ro from Amazon for over £8, when it arrived it was a booklet. Looked on the Be-Rolwebsitge and it was selling for £2.99 inc postage. I complained and they refunded, said take it up with Amazon as we are just a 3rd party supplier. Thanks again, it is a lovely little booklet and I may order one for myself, from be-Ro of course!
