DH picked up a packet of Taste of Game, Wild Duck and Plum Sauce crisps when we visited an upmarket farm shop today (my birthday treat). I could spend a fortune in there if I had one.
Supper tonight was various delicious cheeses and chutneys with the crisps scattered over the top. I don't know what prompted me to look closely at the ingredients because it said gluten free on the packet so no worries there but I was intrigued to discover they were also suitable for vegetarians and vegans
Somebody in the laboratory of food flavours must have shouted, 'Quack' over the powder mix to make sure the wildness of the duck was emphasised but if you were a vegan would you really want to buy these crisps?
It's a funny old world.
