Does anyone use a tortilla press?

I'm thinking of getting one. I make corn tortillas to freeze because they're gluten free and rolling them by hand means the edges are often a bit raggy and they're not always a good shape.

Are they worth the money?

And are the cheap aluminium one as good as the more expensive cast iron ones?

I use one to make Indian puris but using whole meal wheat flour and find it great for that. I have a cast iron one.

I also make corn meal rotis, similar to tortillas, but instead of rolling them out I place a ball of dough on a lightly oiled sheet of baking parchment and use my hand to pat it into the round shape and use my fingers to neaten the edges before cooking. Hard to describe the method. Sorry.

Alternatively, place an upturned tea plate on the rolled out tortillas and cut around them for clean edges.
