Like a great many people I am on my own on Christmas/Boxing day. It has many advantages! I can eat, sleep and do what I like and when I like.
For my lunch I have my particular favourite - Lobster. I order a pre-prepared Thermidor from M&S or Waitrose, sit back and enjoy. Every year, I determine to make my own but am put off by being unsure about which bits I have to throw away if I prepare my own lobster. Cowardly, I know. Has anyone foolproof tips, please. Also do I need special lobster tools for the claws or can I use nutcrackers or some such.
