Hob to oven casserole dish

Meant to add that i do agree with Norah, I have the Le Creuset stainless steel casserole too but in a large size and it is superb , well worth the money. I use it when cooking larger amounts of food and it can be taken directly to the table.

I have a Stellar shallow casserole/pan (no nonstick lining) which I bought 20+ years ago . I use it almost every day and it is still as good as new. I have burnt food in it many times and cleans up superbly. I wash it in the dish washer and it comes out sparkling.
TK Maxx often have Stellar pans in.

I like the Procook one and it's an affordable price. Good reviews too. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Thanks Chucky I was showing the same quality and lower weight. Works for me, at any rate, done explaining as not all can agree on pans.

@Norah the link you supplied is to a Le Creuset chef pan. Although not as heavy as their cast iron ones, it is still fairly heavy at 2.5kg.

I am sorry I assumed the same price and quality was required. I do love a good quality stainless, with no nonstick surface, just works to me.

Is it more expensive than crueset, OP mentioned crueset.

I think it was around £24, not sure but was definitely under £30.

I too can't get on with heavy ones.

My best buy in kitchen stuff has been a Masterclass hob to oven casserole dish by Kitchen Craft (www.kitchencraft.co.uk)

I bought in our local Home Hardware shop, think the shops are previously independent but now under a sort of "umbrella" .

Planning to buy some more in the same range when other pots need replacing.

Only drawback is the non stick inner, so need to remember to use the right utensils!
