That sounds good, Iam64

And yes, I do like creamed coconut in curries, Hetty although I haven't tried it in stroganoff. Do you add lemon juice to give the stroganoff a tang?

Thanks ladies, no I’m not going vegan, I just want to cut down on meat. I’ll give some of the above a go

Callistemon, I've found that marinading meat in yoghurt and spices for 24 hours before starting the curry works brilliantly. I haven't tried that with vegetables or pulses for veg curry, I usually just chuck the yoghurt in.

Callistemon, I use creamed coconut instead in recipes like that.

Are you thinking of adding the yogurt to curries, mushroom stroganoff etc?
I'd be interested to know what it's like heated through in dishes like that.

Alpro vanilla is nice - and cruelty free!

Skyr yoghurt is a lovely creamy yoghurt, it’s thicker than most , high in protein and lower in fat , delicious !

Yes, of course, you cannot include yogurt made from milk in a vegan diet.

Perhaps a yogurt made from almond milk or coconut milk might be naturally sweeter.

I remember when yogurt first appeared on the shelves and none of tastes as sour as it did all those years ago.

The Collective is lovely, Yeo Valley Greek yogurt and Tesco's Greek style yogurt are not at all sour.

By far the best yoghurt available right now is The Collective yoghurt. Pricy but oh so delicious.
However, if by plant based you mean vegan then yoghurt isn't allowed.

Hi
I’m trying to find a plain yoghurt that isn’t to sour.
Long story short, I’m trying to eat more plant based and quite a few recipes need plain yoghurt, and I would like to give them a go. Hence the question
