I roast them first and drain off the excess fat and then pour over some diluted hoisin sauce and cook. Serve with salad and ciabatta to mop up any remaining sauce.

I use a dollop if Franks sauce, dollop of bbq sauce and 1 star anise.
Coat ribs and cook for 5hours.
Mop the sauce with crusty bread.

I bought a pack of pork ribs yesterday. Fancied something different. Does anyone have a simple tasty recipe for BBQ ribs done in the slow cooker? Thanks.
