What are you all having to eat tonight? I cook every evening and have been getting bored with the usual meals. Tonight, I've made a Chicken Jambalaya - it's a Hello Fresh recipe I had ages ago, but I bought all the ingredients and have adapted it a bit.

I've made a carrot cake for afters.... with cream grin

Here was I thinking you were some kind of domestic goddess in lockdown GagaJo!

We are having chicken thighs smothered in Nando’s peri peri sauce. 50 minutes in the oven while I read my book then when cooked, shove a bag of mushroom rice in the microwave for 2 minutes. At the ‘ping’ dinner will be served. I shall wipe my brow with the effort of it all.

Duck for dinner and just had salmon with garlic green beans and herby potatoes. All for school meals. Not bad at all! It isn't always this good tho.

Leftover turkey stew out of my partially emptied freezer. I will sling in some leftover rice from last night, and possibly liven it up with curry powder, though it was quite tasty first time around.

I love food but how we both long for someone else’s - anyone else’s - cooking just for a change !
