What's everyone having for dinner?

Maybe your local chip shop will come up trumps today charley and you will get freshly fried haddock and fresh chips ?
We’ll have stir fried chicken with noodles and ginger + soy sauce.

When I go to the chippie I choose haddock because they have none pre-cooked, it is freshly cooked for me whereas the cod was cooked earlier and heaven knows how long it has been warming up. A pity the chips are not always freshly cooked.

Chicken curry, that's in the slow cooker. Just because the kitchen ceiling is being painted this afternoon.
We like all the sides, but just can't manage them these days.

Had roast chicken yesterday so tonight will be egg fried rice with chicken followed by pear sponge (pears picked from the garden last autumn and stored in the freezer)

Razor clams from the supermarket! Never had them before but happy to try something new.

A steamed fillet of cod with a grilled tomato. Fasting day☹️.

Fillet steaks with stilton sauce, maman potatoes, roasted tomatoes and something else that I havent decided on yet- maybe tenderstem.

I made an Indian last night homemade veg samosa tandoori chicken prawn dhansak and veg rice.

Smoky Hake with greens and beans.
Stewed plums and custard.

Fish finger butties served with a salad.

A salmon and broccoli pasta thing I copied (and added to) from an M&S ready meal my mother used to like - white sauce with a little cheese and white wine added, a flaked tin of salmon and lightly steamed broccoli added with the pasta, usually penne.

I have cooking fatigue constantly
I haven't been that well but managed to make a chilli earlier which is in the slow cooker. I have some of those microwave packets of rice. I am past caring today tbh

Spag Bol for us tonight. I'm suffering from cooking-fatigue today although I usually love cooking. It's the "thinking what to have" that exhausts me!

I have cooked a piece of honey roast gammon from Sainsbury's which looks delish.
I have made a large mixed salad and will stick a few oven chips in as I have no new potatoes which I would normally have.

Macaroni cheese and a mountain of mixed veg.

Quiche and cous cous that I made earlier.
Dh wants chips, so I will teach him how to use the air fryer.

Puzzler61 that’s one of my favourite meals! Unfortunately there isn’t usually any chilli left once Mr. B gets stuck into it!
