Snacking

Honestly, I've reached my highest weight in lockdown. I've been doing the online grocery shops in the evening when I feel at my snackiest - then I'm shocked when two days later loads of biscuits and pies turn up at the door! I need to get my self control back...

I try not to snack too much and I weigh myself every day. Still the same weight. But I have such a sweet tooth. Its like an addiction.
I have 1 square dark chocolate and half a naked bar every day and about 4 nuts. And usually a biscuit as well. I wish I was stronger.

You are all so good and eating healthily. I am a sinner and love chocolate and crisps with the odd wine thrown in.

Never snacked. But don’t keep crisps, biscuits, chocolates, etc., in the house anyway.

That made me smile isn’t chocolate and crisps snacks ?

I thought I d put weight on sitting more and snacking more but I got weighed this week at the hospital and I m the same as before lockdown
If I was to snack I d buy crisps, toffee popcorn, nuts of any kind and Bombay mix but I try not to buy them or I would eat them
Strangely I don’t like chocolate at all

I buy Palestinian dates from an Amazon site and these are my 'sweet treats'. I am not safe near chocolate which I haven't seen during the lockdown period, so the dates have been my indulgence - and apples.

We rarely snack between meals but if I'm really hungry I'll slice an apple and eat it with a few cubes of cheese. DH likes grapes and satsumas.

If I start snacking on nuts I can't stop! grin

No, try not to. Just eat three meals a day, then have some fruit with mug of cocoa in the evening.

My life is one long snack. blush

No we don’t because I struggle to keep my weight as it is.

We may have crisps when picnicking and high days and holidays have chocolate.

Nuts are the most we eat for snacks

Apparently, people are snacking a lot during lockdown.

It's not something we have ever done - think how wide I'd be if we did - so we don't have snacky stuff in. We have fruit on the kitchen table, crisps which are occasionally (though rarely) eaten at lunch time and some chocolate as a sweet treat sometimes in the evening.

Do you snack and, if you do, what do you snack on?
