Homegrown red pepper and tomato soup seasoned with Chipotle pepper flakes and garnished with pancetta. Warming and delicious!

I became the proud owner of a Ninja foodi 7 in 1 electric pressure cooker. DH bought it for me just before last Christmas. It pressure cooks, steams, bakes, roasts, sautès, grills and slow cooks.
One of the first things I made in it was this beef stew and dumplings. All in the one pot, no need for the oven, its brilliant.

I love soft roe!!

lizzypopbottle Mon 19-Oct-20 14:19:24

Found one that survived my ruthless deletion spree! Dinner: mince and onion pie!

lizzypopbottle Mon 19-Oct-20 14:14:41

Dammit! I culled a load of photos and many of them were dinners! I'm looking to see if any survived the chop... (No pun intended!)

Auntieflo Mon 19-Oct-20 13:55:26

Shortlegs, I love soft roes on toast, but haven't seen any in the supermarket for ages.
Could you tell us where you sources yours please?

I made this for my mum and dads 55th wedding anniversary. Love birds on the front and a pair of dinosaurs on the back.

No picture, but yesterday having GD (8) for childcare asked if she would like to try some "sludge" soup. Thought this would get her interested rather than broccoli and blue cheese. Loved it! So it's not always what it looks like that makes food appealing!

My fruit cake - always add some liquer or spirit as well as mixed spices to give it a better taste!

Lots of mouth watering going on. I am going to look up how to make Fat Rascals. I love the name and they look delicious.

Soft herring roe on toast. Best breakfast treat.

Had to do a quick impromptu buffet for guests, luckily I’d just picked loads of fruit from the garden and had a baking session with GC

Granof5 Mon 19-Oct-20 10:10:44

Salmon en croute, new potatoes and roasted broccoli, very tasty

I regularly make Simon Sharma’s recipe for cheese soufflé. It works ever time and is delicious. I love a Pavlova too and finally a fish pie on a Friday.

Very easy to do Riverwalk, just scored the chicken breasts & marinaded in oil, lemon juice, garlic & Cajun seasoning, baked & basted for about 45 minutes & garnished with coriander.
Yes, had fried green tomatoes but in Tennessee not GA. Happy days smile

Riverwalk Mon 19-Oct-20 07:56:34

Jane that chicken looks so tasty!

I've had 'fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe' in Juliette, Georgia, where they made the film. Have you been there - I know you visit GA.

Shysal your goodies look too nice to eat!

Oh I think we could rustle up a fantastic GN buffet smile something for everyone.

I didn’t take a picture but I made a delicious banoffee pie today. Yum.

So nice to see meals served on white dinner plates, makes the food the star event!

I was going to post a picture of a Date and Walnut Cake, and a Cherry Almond Cake, then my newly married granddaughter and her husband arrived.......
This all that is left.
