I won't feel such a pleb now when I make tuna pasta bake. I'll just posh it up a bit by adding Aleppo pepper to the cheese sauce. tchgrin

I'm going to double the creme caramel recipe for DH and I as soon as I buy some more eggs. It's one of my favourite desserts.

As for meatballs with mash what about Swedish meatballs with lingonberry jam and gravy alla IKEA.

We sometimes have mash , nothing better than buttery mash with a dollop of Chilli (con carne) on it, or a baked potato.

We sometimes have mash with meatballs, make some onion gravy and warm the meatballs in that. Lovely and tasty.

But what's with creamy buttery mash and meatballs? Surely only pasta or rice with them?

I was so excited last night, to see Nigella Lawson make a delicious creme caramel for one person!! Living alone is so frustrating, trying to cook interesting things and not have loads of leftovers. I can't wait to try it!
