Family recipes

Can’t help - but that sounds a lovely idea. I’ve got a little book with some recipes hand written by my Mum, who died in 1992. I’ll keep an eye on this page.
I’m not really a wizz with technology, but could the recipes be printed, photographed and uploaded then made into a book? I know friends did that with photographs and presented DH with a lovely book including written comments on each page.

That would be lovely especially if it is in the original handwriting. if you photograph the bits of paper there are many firms that will make them into a book, Bonus print for one.

We went to a funeral, the deceased was an amazing cook, each order of service had one of her recipes on.

You can scan them and make them into a photo book. Most programs for photo books have suitable cliparts and backgrounds to embellish them to make it professional. You can also add photos of the dishes if you have made some, and the less legible scraps you can type out the recipe. It sounds a faff, but I love doing this. If you aren't keen on doing it yourself, maybe there is someone out there who can take a pile of scraps and collate them into a book.

No I’m happy to do this but trying to see if there are any online companies that do this or someone may have already done it.
