I don't use a soup-maker, just a big stockpot but one of my favourites is an easypeasy lentil and bacon soup.
400g red lentils
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
250g bacon lardons - dry cured bacon if possible.
Vegetable or chicken stock
Ground pepper to taste.
When it's cooked, I whiz it smooth in the blender. Any excess freezes well. Smakelijk!
