Oh, oh, might be a one off M&S spree, it is nearly ??.
Appreciated all.

I have to vote for M&S tinned food, it is amazing value. I even buy their tinned ham for emergencies blush

Thank you, fortunately we have a Lidl and M&S food hall opposite each other. Let the trial commence!

We buy Lidl own brand. My DH loves Heinz but happily eats the Lidl ones. No nasty after taste like some have.

Buy your Baked Beans from M&S. Their own brand. They are not just any baked bean, they are M&S baked beans and they are exceptional. Very little juice.

And cheaper than Heinz as well!

I eat Heinz beans, and have seen no change, but I do like to reduce the sauce and make it thicker.

We only eat Heinz baked beans and haven't noticed any change at all.

No. We shared a can of Heinz baked beans tonight with our meal. Plenty of beans, adequate ratio of sauce to beans. Unless of course this was an old can! Mind you some foods are staying the same price but in smaller bags or packets!

If you buy multi packs my late DH used to work for Heinz and he told me that substandard batches of beans were used for those and you’d get some broken beans and more juice in multi packs.

Brexit beans
when will it end?

Anyone else noticed that tins of beans, we use Branston or Heinz, have a lot more sauce in the last 2/3 months?
Anyone recommend some that aren’t swimming beans please?
