The trouble with shop bought quiche I think is that they tend to be blander than I like, but saying that how much easier a shop bought one is, and I’m usually up for an easy life these days.

Morrisons ‘The Best’ quiches are fab. My favourite is the maple cured bacon and cheese, but they also do a lovely goats cheese and red onion. They look really good too if it’s for a special occasion.

Have you looked at “Waitrose Entertaining” ?

nandad Iceland do them.

I've never had any problem at all with M&S quiches. I heat them in the oven. Microwave makes them soggy and I like the pastry crisp.

Just warm them up for a minute or two in the microwave, assuming you’ve got one. I’ve never had the pastry collapse after doing this.

Thank you for your suggestions.

sago - that’s what I wanted but can’t get them anywhere as they are considered to be Christmas party food!
I was trying to go with that sort of vibe with the quiche but I’ve found that once heated in the oven the pastry falls away so I wondered if DH was to cut medium size ones first and then put them in the oven, would the filling all collapse?

I like M&S quiche Lorraine. Hate it cold though.

Morrisons quiche llorraine is delicious

Personally I think it’s nicer warmed up a bit in the microwave. Whether shop or homemade.

Why not buy a selection of mini/individual quiches?

Serve it cold with salad. I do that

After opinions regarding using shop bought quiche please.
We are having some friends over for a drink for my birthday and husband is insisting that I won’t be doing anything towards the food other than advising him! Want to keep it very simple and only do finger food and thought small slices of quiche might be nice. Question is has anyone bought quiche and sliced it before heating it up?
