We had eggs baked in avocados on a base of beluga lentils and leeks

Yesterday I cooked a piece of gammon in the slow cooker and my S and GD had it with roast potatoes, home grown runner beans, broccoli and onion sauce.
I just nibbled a piece as I have not been well and had no appetite.
Feeling better today so I shall have some with a small jacket potato and a tiny salad.

Stir fry - basil, red pepper, cauli, carrots, onions, celery, french beans, sauteed tofu squares - on basmatti. Fruit and nuts.

mrhulk632 Oh, I see. I don't like the taste of it, but the thread is "what's for tea" - a meal at teatime. What did you have yesterday?

We went to see our DD today and knew we would go for a pub lunch. I made a pan of minestrone soup last night ready for today's tea.

Feeling lazy so it’ll be cheese and tomato omelette, potato wedges and salad.

In fact, scrap the salad, I’ll open a tin of baked beans. ?

Norah Wed 28-Sept-22 15:06:21

Canellini cauli-roasted dressed - served semi-warm. Wedge salad with aquafaba dressing (and no cheese), bread, fruit. Vegan day!

Riverwalk Tue 27-Sept-22 16:08:13

Vegan curry: sweet potato, butternut squash & black-eyed beans.

It's defrosting as I speak, batch-cooked in the slow cooker, and will be re-heated in the microwave - all very economical, and tasty! ?️?️

MrsKen33 Tue 27-Sept-22 15:54:39

Cauliflower and Scamorza frittata, plus a green salad and tiny tomatoes from DD’s greenhouse.

Norah Tue 27-Sept-22 15:44:20

Baked nut rice mixture - sliced, on quinoa, with tomato gravy, French green beans, salad, bread. Fruit and nuts?

I have no idea, DD1 and DD3 plus family have inserted themselves. They eat different to us. I'll shop the freezer, bake some bread and cupcakes.
