fruit doesn't last the trip home from the supermarket!

I'd come home with a boot full of plants and no food.

Definitely finding the quality of fruit and veg in my local supermarket is going down hill. Less choice, doesn't last, more expensive.

Incidently there were fresh blueberries from Ukraine for sell in Morrisons this week.

Our local Dobbies all have Sainsbury’s outlets, but don’t seem to have the offers. Fine to pick up something for later, but I wouldn’t do a big shop there.
Must say, on my own now, I shop little and often - what I want, when I want it.

What do you think about supermarket outlets in garden centres? We have a Waitrose coming into our local Dobies Garden Centre. Also does anyone do a weekly shop anymore? I find it increasingly difficult to buy fresh goods with a life of more than 2-3 days.
