Are selling a * A stuffed vegan turkey joint* why on earth do they call it a Turkey Joint confused. It's not turkey.

Lots of vegan products are described in a similar way - vegan 'chicken', vegan 'pulled pork' and so on. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm not vegan myself, but if products like this encourage people to at least try some plant-based products, I think it's a good thing.

None of my Vegetarian/Vegan friends want food described as vegan sausages, vegan bacon, vegan turkey etc. They are not interested in vegetarian food described as though it were meat just as I would not be interested in a meat dish made to look like or taste like vegetables.
