OK, probably not on the menu of most Gransnetters (those being in the UK) at the moment, but here in Melbourne where it has been rather hot it is peak ice cream season.

I have just made Mary Berry's No churn Rum and Raisin Ice cream. WOW! I've made a fair bit of ice cream over the years but none of them come close to this one for ease and texture. The same recipe could be used for any flavour - or just vanilla but it is definitely a 10/10 for me.

Simply cream, condensed milk and raisins soaked in rum.

I borrowed an ice cream maker from a friend once. I made 2 types (don't remember what) and just for fun, made some sangria sorbet with left over wine. Wow! Gorgeous.

LOVE homemade ice cream. LOVE rum n raison. Would like a sample of yours!

I have an ice cream maker and use it a lot for traditional ice creams. Rum and raisin is one of my favourites that I plan to make next week with a special meal.
I have made a few ice creams courtesy of Nigella Lawson with condensed milk simply so easy especially brandy coffee ice cream it’s delicious. I am making a lot of fruit sorbets in my blender also easy recipes.
