Help accidentally defrosted blueberries.

I haven’t added sugar but I heated them up and now they are cooling.

Yes, cook them with a bit of sugar, and re-refreeze in small portions.

Yes, you could make a compote, then freeze it in smaller servings. It should last quite a while in the freezer.

Why not make a crumble or a smoothie?
Actually I think they’d be fine to refreeze unless your kitchen is very warm.
Ask again in July and I might give a different answer!

I took out of the freezer a large packet of blueberries, served myself for dessert and forgot to put the packet back in the freezer.
To preserve them is it safe if I microwave them to boiling point then let them cool and later re bagged them for freezing?
