Obviously a great idea to raise money and recycle them. But I don’t think I have ever parted with one of these tubs! I reuse them for many things, storing sewing bits and pieces, cake decorating bits, grandchildren’s little toys, Lego, crayons, pencils etc. I’ve used them as saucers for plant pots in the garden-adds a bit of colour to boring plant pots. I’ve even put plants in them with a couple of holes in bottom. Birds peanuts are stored in one-airtight and waterproof. I always have one handy for a quick tidy up of little bits that seem to get left around on the table or book shelves. I put one out in the front garden last year with some stones in it to provide the birds with water in the summer. We even have one just outside the front door to pop gds dirty nappies in if it’s raining-until I can put them in big bin. Saves buying little storage boxes.
