I have never made a jam- I am not a fan. A friend makes marmalade and I am supplied for many months of the year.

Camilla7 I love the idea of Nectarine jam I’m going to give it a go.

At the end of June I made 5 jars of Strawberry jam and 3 small jars of Lemon Peel jam. The Lemon peel jam was an experiment. (I had frozen all my lemon peel leftover bits for a few weeks).

Apricot jam last week, gooseberry the week before and rhubarb earlier this year. Tomorrow I'm making lime curd. Next week I'll make raspberry jam. Then in September I'll make red pepper and chilli jam and some chutney. My jam pot was my mum's. I've made jam all my adult life

Cherry, this morning. We have a glut of big, black cherries this year; I have made jam, compôte, dried a couple of kilos for the muesli and frozen some while I decide what to do with them. There are a lot of raspberries too, so I am freezing them to make jam later on.

Raspberry and I didn’t have enough sugar so I used honey instead, turned out great, slightly tart and sweet together.😋

I have never made jam and only now have I realised that. I have made lemon curd though....

You should definitely have a go, it's so very rewarding:-) I started 12 years ago and became addicted!

Blackcurrant, a week ago. DH likes it to be slightly sharp, so I reduced the sugar. I made 10 jars, but it won’t last long!

Strawberry.

A pot of blackcurrant jelly last week, made from my own blackcurrants. Homemade is always best! I shall be making crabapple jelly in the autumn. But that’s all I do.

Rhubarb and ginger.
I make a lot of jam, mostly from home grown or foraged fruit. We have a couple of fig trees and fig and orange was very nice!

I made quince jelly about 5 years ago, does that count?
We don’t eat jam, so never make it.

Blackberry, I picked them locally and it was delicious lasted me all Winter and it’s time to go picking again

Raspberry. They had over ordered at our local supermarket. They reduced the price and DH brought home ten punnets. It's lovely.

marmalade - and not enough of it - finished in June!

I made nectarine jam recently and having never had it didn't know what to expect. Well, to say my family loves it is an understatement! It's like summer in a jar!

We enjoyed it on Sunday with a cream tea to celebrate England getting to the Euros final.

What was the last jam you made and how was it?
