Mind you I do tend to think that the best thing to do with our lovely fat black cherries is just to eat them. The season is so short!

I'd rather eat cherries fresh, just bought some today.. I make clafoutis with plums, very good.

Our tesco had some very tired fruit trees reduced to £3.50 ( from 14) I got three, 2 cherries and a plum. Currently having a good drink. (them not me)

DH very puzzled as we already have a fruiting cherry and a plum trees. I explained these are different sorts. Poor things weak from thirst, need rescuing.
