Green plums

What can I do with loads of green plums? The recent storm destroyed my plum tree which, for once in its life, had loads of fruit. Have picked up half a bucket so far and there will be more under the mess of branches. What do I do with them? I am not much of a cook.

Won't they ripen over a few days/weeks? Lucky you..
I found ages ago a fabulous recipe in a WI book for Mulled Wine jam... Basically Plum jam with a full bottle of Red wine and Mulled wine spices. Stunning, kept until Christmas and gave some away as gifts, the responses back was well worth it.
