Oh dear Laura, what a mistake to buy these so early.
I either a) buy chocolate at the last moment or
b).wrap it immediately, complete with label
Even I hold back tomorrow from unwrapping a present ( well, I haven't yet)

Orlin ate half. It was over a whole week, not all at once. I’m not that greedy.

Aldi’s cherry liqueurs. Bought half a dozen boxes as part of hampers made up for family at Christmas. Have eaten them all. Now have to replenish and then summon enormous amount of willpower not to dig in again.

You ate half a dozen boxes? You sound like me!

Seriously FGT? You’re talking about healthy broth in the midst of profiteroles, cherry liqueurs and Black Forest gateau. How very dare you!

We bought a huge cheesecake from Aldi recently. It was delicious. £2.99.

Cherry liqueur chocolates are my absolute favourite! Sadly, I'm diabetic so have to restrain myself

I buy this from the supermarket in a pouch. All the goodness of a broth but without the faff. Not cheap at £4 but worth it for the goodness (and not having to boil up bones for hours!)

Not yet, but I am intending to do a thougher tasting exercise.

My latest discovery. Heaven in choux pastry, or as Nessa might say lush! Better than Marks, better than all the rest and as expected, cheaper too. Slight problem though, they're not always in there, in fact I've only just tumbled upon them, maybe they're just around at Christmas sad

Have you made any magnificent food discoveries lately ? Tell us about those.
