Freezing Bread Rolls

I've tried all ways to freeze bread rolls but when they thaw out the outsides all crumble away and end up so messy.
Does anyone freeze them and thaw them out successfully?
Thanks.

The soft ones freeze well but the crusty ones don’t.
You could try buying part-baked rolls. They keep well.

Thanks Cabbie I'll have a look for them.

Yes I agree the soft ones definitely freeze better and as Cabbie21 says part baked rolls are a great alternative.

I bought and froze some M&S soft Tiger rolls.
Defrosted one this morning 20 seconds on high - was perfect.

I have frozen rolls and thawed them successfully but you can’t store them in the freezer for very long.

I will try the part baked ones if I find some but I looked on Google. It says if you wrap them in cling film then seal them in a bag they thaw out ok.
Thanks for your comments.
