Some more lovely mouthwatering ideas here. I want to try them all so I will have to buy some more biscuits!!

I make “soil” from unwanted biscuits to serve with vanilla ice cream, a trick I learned from a chef relative. All you do is pulverise the biscuits in a food processor until quite fine. Optional additions may be nuts, or a bit of chocolate (dark chocolate works well). A soil mix of Oreo and ginger nuts would be pretty good, you’d probably just have to make sure that with the cream in the Oreos you dont end up with a paste.

The funny thing is, every time I serve this, everyone thinks it’s very posh! 🤭 It’s always very popular.

I’ve just made Oreo buttercream to go in a chocolate cake. Simply make ordinary buttercream and mix in Oreos reduced to crumbs in the food processor. I’m not a great fan of them but the buttercream tastes good.

Where's our very own Oreo when you need her 😂😂

No, just leave the cream in.

Thanks for all these suggestions ladies. They sound delicious and I am going to try them all. Do you remove the cream from the Oreo biscuits before you use them?

Whisk up a bowl of cream, add a couple of generous tablespoons of Baileys and a large handful of the crushed biscuits. Give it a stir and serve.

If you make a cheesecake with a biscuit crumb base it’s delicious made with Oreos instead of digestives. Make sure you melt the butter.
Or look at Nigella’s chocolate tart.
Lethal!

I've seen recipes using Oreo biscuits on YouTube, where the biscuits are dunked in some sort of coffee/alcoholic brew, then sandwiched together with some creamy confection. Sort of Tiramisu with Oreos. Looks nice, I would eat it if offered probably. If you want to make it I'll come along and test it for you.

Crunched up ginger nuts make an excellent base for cheesecake.

I have packets of these biscuits that nobody is keen to eat. I thought that if I made desserts with them they might be more acceptable. Does anyone have any simple recipes? The packets have been opened so I can’t donate them to a food bank.
