When I was a child my mum bought puffed wheat for the cat, there being no biscuit type catfood in those days. The cat enjoyed it mixed with his meat.

I couldn't eat it now as it's forever stuck in my mind as catfood (which it isn't really, of course) !

I remember Puffed Wheat from my childhood, I found it a very boring cereal, I craved for something covered in sugar more interesting. Other cereals we had in our house, Weetabix and Shredded Wheat. Occasionally porridge.

We regularly have Morrison’s puffed wheat. It is as good as I remember the Quaker one being and it is fairly inexpensive. A good buy!

Breakfast cereals are something which haven't changed much. I suppose people have run out of ideas.Plain puffed wheat was the healthy version. I preferred Sugar Puffs. The honey blended with the milk and made it extra tasty. Is Oatabix still available? I haven't seen it lately.

I have just eaten a bowl of puffed wheat (Sainsbury’s own). I really enjoy it as it’s light and has no added sugar. I recommend!

My husband likes puffed wheat. He hasn't bought any very recently (last time was maybe six months ago), but I've just Googled it, and it looks like Sainsbury's still sell it, but it is an 'own brand', so not sure how it will compare with what you used to get.

Sainsbury's and Morrisons both do their own brands of puffed wheat. I haven't bought sny for around 3 months but they're still showing up as available on their websites.

I remember having puffed wheat, years ago I think it was made by Quaker...thought I'd buy some, but I couldn't find it in any supermarket....then I read somewhere that it had been discontinued, of course now I want it more than ever.
