Now, if we could restrict it to 1955-1965, I might stand a better chance. By the time the Beatles were topping the charts, I had stopped going dancing. Late nights were less likely to be spent jiving on the dance floor, or smooching with my head on a well-built shoulder, more likely to be walking the bedroom floor with a baby on MY shoulder.

Yes, same here, and then when I went back to work I never really listened to the radio much any more...

I think the music of your teen years tends to stay with you forever!

rosesarered Sat 22-Apr-17 18:50:48

I will keep an eye on it, there must be something I know! grin

Elegran Sat 22-Apr-17 18:46:06

Rosesarered I find that my knowledge of pop songs is rather narrow - once I had children my time was too taken up with them to keep up-to-date.

It's a good game Elegran I started a similar game last year, but found that I wasn't any good at it......and others were! I didn't google anything mind you.

All I have to do is Dream - Everly Brothers

(I recognised that, but the trouble is, all anyone has to do is google the line...)

'On the floor below, the girl is crying for her guy again...'

ninathenana Sat 22-Apr-17 16:44:33

All I have to do is dream ????
Really not sure that's the title

Elegran Sat 22-Apr-17 16:40:38

I've just scored 10/10 in a Facebook quiz, identifying which 60's song some excerpts came from. This inspires me to start yet another game thread (sorry), not necessarily using 60s hits.

Name the tune this line comes from (and add a line from another number)

"I could make you mine, taste your lips of wine . . ."
