A Proper Tory Name

This game appeared on FB today - it's fun and not meant to be offensive. In response to Jacob Rees-Moggs naming of his latest child the challenge is to create your own high Tory name. You take the forename of one of your grandparents and then hyphenate the name of the road on which you grew up with the name of your first headteacher.

Mine is Louise Keogh-Salmon- not very impressive I'm sure you can do better. grin

I just love the sound of Henry Distillery-Jones, sounds straight out of Under Milk Wood!

Mary-Alice Tentelow-Vernon. That's a sort of double double barrell, isn't it? I must be extra posh.

J had to use GGF's name as GFs were David and John. How very ordinary!

I used the headteacher of my junior school, here's one with the headteacher of my infant school.

George Parkhead-Simpson.

All you need is the Telegraph births column for real Tory names. One I noticed recently was Rufus Hugh Grenville Cazalet, but there are lots of examples.

I’m not a Telegraph reader, but I amuse myself by reading the births online from time to time.

Sigh
Social stereotyping again.
How about your Left wing “salt of the earth” Labour name?
Down T Pitt?

Evalina Goldthorn-Llewelyn.

Interesting concept of a high Tory name.
Nowadays all hyphenated names are created for children whose parents have neglected to marry each other.
