Panache started this game thread a little while back and I think it was just her way of making the game a bit different from the other Acronym type games already on GN.

Like you, when I first 'Joined' this paricular game, I was not using the final word as my first word, it took several attempts before the penny dropped! .

Cherrytree59, I'm sorry if I sounded harsh and should have chosen my words more carefully I'm glad you like my name. I like yours, too.

However, what you describe as Acronyms is not my understanding of the word and why I posted as I did:

We call that Last Word First.

dictionary.com describes acronyms as:

"a word formed from the initial letters or groups of letters of words in a set phrase or series of words and pronounced as a separate word, as Wac from Women's Army Corps, OPEC from Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or loran from long-range navigation."

So when I used the whole word I was translating the Acronym into what I thought it represents.

Alliteration is my passion. I belong to a couple other word game forums where we do a game of 4 Word Phrase Alliteration, the point being to use as many of the same beginning letters in each word, and a game of as many words with the same beginning letter. No words in parenthesis are used as filler in games.

I don't want to make waves or be a disturbance though. I'm new here and not trying to tell you how to run things, I'm just used to doing it differently. I appreciate the warm welcome you have all extended me and apologize if I have offended anyone
