ALLITERATION

(803 Posts)

Definition: Alliteration is the repetition of the initial letter or sound in two or more closely associated words.

Rules: List them alphabetically in sentences, one per post. They can be as sensible or as silly as you like, provided they are sentences.

Examples:

Messy Martha Maddox makes matching motorbikes.

Voluptuous Vicky likes vineyard vino.

Daring Duncan drives down dirty ditches.

You can make them as long as you like:

Poor Pandora Peterson pricks pears, pares pineapples, poaches potatoes, prepares porridge, proudly pleasing Peter Parkinson's peculiar, particular, pedantic panderings.

Or as short as this:

Dora danced.

Anything is good, provided you post them in alphabetical order. Feel free to omit X.

‘Sarah’, she suddenly shouted, ‘send some salt, Sweetheart’
‘Sure shall’, Sarah shrieked.
Salt supplied, Sharon seasoned said sustenance satisfactorily. ‘Scrumptious!’ she stated.
