but :

there was only one change from depression to precision i.e. C
Am I reading the rules wrong?

PRECISION. added Cand second I then subtracted D,E and S. The C and I could be said to replace two subtracted letters , that’s 2 changes but that still leaves a third letter not used. That’s 3 changes.Complicated, but that’s the rule.
