Young Guido of York took the rap
His discovery in the cellar a mishap
Now four hundred years on

Young Guido of York took the rap
His discovery in the cellar a mishap

The fireworks here have already started
My dogs, under the chairs have darted
Poor things live in fear
I dread this time of year
And King James was not even martyred!

Young Guido of York took the rap

The fireworks here have already started
My dogs, under the chairs have darted
Poor things live in fear
I dread this time of year

The fireworks here have already started
My dogs, under the chairs have darted
Poor things live in fear

Sorry!

The fireworks here have already started
My dogs, under the chairs have darted

The fireworks here have already started
A few round here, rather half-hearted

The fireworks here have already started
My dogs, under the chairs have darted

I`m feeling really low and depressed
At this time of year I`m not at my best
My mojo is missing,
I don't want kissing!
And I don’t even want to think of the rest!

The fireworks here have already started

I`m feeling really low and depressed
At this time of year I`m not at my best
My mojo is missing,
I don't want kissing!

I`m feeling really low and depressed
At this time of year I`m not at my best
My mojo is missing,

I'm feeling really low and depressed
At this time of year I’m not at my best

Every era I find has attractions
They also have their fair share of detractions
New friends bring enjoyment
With old friends there's contentment
But with all, it's great to have the interactions.

I'm feeling really low and depressed

Every era I find has attractions
They also have their fair share of detractions
New friends bring enjoyment
With old friends there's contentment

Every era I find has attractions
They also have their fair share of detractions
New friends bring enjoyment

Every era I find has attractions
They also have their fair share of detractions

I’ve spent enough time in a plaster cast
I want to move on from my accident-prone past
Want to be fit and active
Too much rest now unattractive
I'm glad I'm getting well fast.

Every era I find has attractions

I’ve spent enough time in a plaster cast
I want to move on from my accident-prone past
Want to be fit and active
Too much rest now unattractive

I’ve spent enough time in a plaster cast
I want to move on from my accident-prone past

I hope 2020 is better than 2019.
On being a year older I`m not too keen,
No accidents, next year please
I don`t want bringing to my knees
I’m sure you can see what I mean.

I’ve spent enough time in a plaster cast

I hope 2020 is better than 2019.
On being a year older I`m not too keen,
No accidents, next year please
I don`t want bringing to my knees

I hope 2020 is better than 2019.
On being a year older I`m not too keen,
No accidents, next year please

I hope 2020 is better than 2019.
On being a year older I`m not too keen,

I`m not keen on the clocks going back
That extra hour in bed makes me slack
The mornings are too dark
Especially when up with the lark,
I think I'll jump back into the sack.

I hope 2020 is better than 2019.
